Eco-responsible initiatives
The Port of Québec is committed to enhancing its sustainable development approach across all recreational tourism and event activities on its site, through its Environmental, Social, Governance and Sustainable Development (ESGSD) Action Plan 2024–2028.
We are implementing several facilities to make the site accessible to as many people as possible:
- Access to the basins
- Accessible restrooms
- Accessible tables
- Accessibility in bar areas
- Access to all on-site facilities
We encourage eco-friendly travel options through:
- Close proximity to bus stops
- Easy access on foot or by running
- Bike racks available on site
- Nearby À Vélo stations
- Electric vehicle charging stations
Several measures are in place to reduce our environmental footprint:
- Deposit-return system (Consignaction) for cans
- Use of reusable eco-cups at the bar and throughout the site
- Reduction of residual waste
We prioritize local collaborations:
- Local products featured on the menu
- Partnerships with Québec restaurateurs
- Programming that showcases local artists
